Since its inception, Sathaye College has been known for its focus on all-round development of students. Therefore, the college organises several cultural groups like Dance Association, Fine Arts Association, Music Association, Theatre Group, Nature Club, Marathi Vangmay Mandal and English Literary Association among others that organise several activities for students. The college is equipped with a library with over 72,000 books, biology laboratory, chemistry laboratory, electronics laboratory, computer laboratories, electrical workshop, a gymkhana and sports facilities. Intra and Intercollegiate festivals such as “Utsav”,”Gravity”, and “Byte IT” ensure the overall development of students by giving them an exposure and a platform to express their talents. Regarded as one of the best institutes for science, Sathaye would definitely be the suburban science aspirants first choice, although the cut-off is rather high. Located 15 minutes from Vile Parle station, there is a dominantly Maharashtrian crowd. Students opting for electronics/ vocational subjects find Sathaye to be an apt choice.
